The city of Lugano announces an international competition for the identity of the new LAC cultural center, which will be the core of the organizational network managing the city’s cultural activities. From a total of 80 participating design studios, five are selected to present a proposal for a logo. The mandate is entrusted to CCRZ.
The logo is conceived as a thread. It expresses the dual function of connecting the various artistic disciplines and activities of the cultural center as well as to weave a dialogue between the city’s museums, institutions and galleries. It is a versatile logo that combines two different codes – playful and light, rigorous and institutional.
