The exhibition design project originates from the need to promote the new building insulation product Xenergy by Dow Chemicals. The big X dominating the exhibition space is taken up by the logo and press campaign, which simultaneously appears in trade fairs and in architecture and construction industry press. It acts both as a light fixture and as a highly recognizable scenic element. The colour, the same shade of grey as the product itself, is used in order to confer a "single material" appearance to the exhibition design.
