The volume features a work by Adriana Beretta, commissioned by the Museum Villa dei Cedri in Bellinzona in occasion of an exhibition dedicated to monumental and funerary sculpture. With the installation entitled Rosa rosae rosae... the artist has intervened along the perimeter of the municipal cemetery, where the most ancient tombstones are leaning against the wall. She placed eighty-eight slabs in correspondence of each gravestone, with the name rosa in its first Latin declension engraved on lead sheets. The book is a kind of mantra reproducing the eighty-eight slabs page after page. Printed on bible paper and Japanese bound it is produced in two limited editions, one of which including an original slab and a slipcase.
